UK Delivery lead time delays?

Hello all, new member of the forum.

I ordered an ID.7 Pro S Match via my the Zenith lease scheme back in August. Originally delivery time was confirmed as November, then the supplying dealer told me directly it was scheduled for build in week 50 (december) so delivery likely by end of Jan, now I am told it its scheduled for build at the factory in week 5 of 2025 so delivery may not happen til March 2025.

Can't find anything specific online about factory / production delays other than VW delaying roll out of the ID.7 to the US market. Does anyone here know what the status of ID.7 production for UK market is and if the outlook is for further delays?

New baby at home and the ID.7 would be very useful as currently driving my old Lupo around which isnt ideal! Any further delays and I may ask Zenith to cancel and find a different car.

I have ordered a stonewashed blue Pro S Match with the optional interior and exterior packs. Maybe being so bold as to order with options rather than accept base spec is my downfall! I would have liked to go for the tourer, but it was just that bit too expensive for my budget over the hatch.

When I was looking last month I was told there was an indefinite delay on sunroofs, otherwise a factory order would be 12 weeks. Took a stock car in the end to take advantage of VW’s current finance offers. Nice choice of colour.

I just ordered an ID7 tourer with interior, exterior pack, panoramic sunroof and a heat pump... after reading this I'm going to assume a long lead time now

I fear I should have gone stock now lol..

Unfortunately I've gone black with the black styling pack too... should have mentioned that. Going to assume a long lead time but I've not been provided that yet!

Ordered mine through Zenith as well at the start of October, have an estimated date of the 22nd April.
Have you had any further updates?

I ordered an ID7 Tourer with Heat Pump and Exterior plus pack only via work lease scheme. Order placed around the 25th November with an estimated delivery schedule of mid-March next year. Something like 15 or 16 weeks although there is Christmas in there for good measure.
