Hi there, I've owned a Skoda Enyaq 80 Sportline for the last 3.5 years and been pretty active over on the Enyaq Forums (sister site to this). I have an order in for a new Enyaq vRS as at the time (Aug 2024) whilst I was interested in the ID.7, I couldn't quite stretch my finances for a Tourer GTX. However now through work I have the option of leasing one for less than I'd be paying for the Enyaq - for the same performance, but a slightly larger (and more comfortable) car. It's getting on for six months since order and no sign of delivery, so I'm tempted to jump ship to VW who seem to have a much quicker production schedule. I have a colleague who has an ID.7 Pro through the same work scheme, so have been comparing his car to mine.

I'm currently trying to research all I can to make the decision to cancel the order (and lose a bit of deposit), and go for an ID.7 Tourer GTX. I have a history of fast 4WD estate cars (eg Subaru Legacy GTB), and really miss them :)
I do have a lot of experience of the MEB platform from the Enyaq, so hopefully I can be helpful on here with generic MEB related issues and information. The Enyaq and ID.7 are really quite similar cars underneath after all.

On order: ID.7 Tourer GTX, Heat pump, Sunroof, Kings Red.

Hi Rich,

Good to see you again. We switched from our Enyaq 60 to a Pro S Tourer last November. At that time VW had 100+ ID.7s in stock, but seem to have shifted them now.

Enjoying the new car and can now (just) get from Lincoln to S Scotland without recharging, although I would never consider driving non-stop!

Hi Mike. I had a good look at my colleague’s Pro hatchback yesterday, so I think my mind’s made up. I do still love the Enyaq, but the extra 10cm of boot space will make a big difference to us.

And an ID.7 GTX and Enyaq vRS have almost identical performance, but I think the ID.7’s DCC is more advanced

Well, that's done it - I've cancelled my Enyaq vRS order. Will be putting in the order for an ID.7 Tourer GTX through work in a couple of months (so I don't end up paying for two cars until my current PCP ends). Should hopefully get it around November :)

Just got to decide on the colour - white, aquamarine blue or red? :D

Went for the Stonewashed Blue with black pack - looks awesome in the metal. I found the Aquamarine looked better in the pics than real life.

After asking friends and family for opinions, I've decided on red :) The GTX interior has got so much red that can't be changed (piping on seats, stitching, steering wheel plastic etc), and to me it doesn't really go with blue (despite blue being my favourite colour). So I've gone for the Kings Red, as it seems a nice red and I've never owned a red car (too many memories of faded Ford Sierras in the 1980s had put me off).
