I love the auto speed changes using Adaptive Cruise Control, but how can VW Software 5.0 get actual road speed wrong? I don't appreciate being slowed down on a 70mph road to 30mph when no roadworks or speed changes apply. Also there have been situations when the car has sped up and then slowed down after decrease in the road speed limit, Highly irregular and needs to be rectified. But How?
The map software update was in June 24. I know that the speed limits have never changed around my town in the last 15 years (no road works either) so I am furious
at how the vehicle can act on NO INFORMATION in such a dangerous way.
I have switched off the variable speed function and I how to do that myself, but everything else still works. (I think).
