Hello All.
Could anybody, who has had their ID7 Tourer a while or indeed just collected tell me if both or only nearside mirror dips when reverse is selected?
Thank you.
Dipping Mirrors. Reverse Selected. Tourer.
When set up correctly the left mirror will dip when selecting reverse if the mirror adjust knob has been selected to left side. Then the mirror will return to normal position after you drive forwards above about 5 or 10 mph, OR if you turn the ajust knob back to centre position.

Had my 2025 model dropped off a couple of days ago, when selecting reverse, does the multifunction dial have to have the passenger side mirror icon illuminated / switched to that mirror for it to auto dip or is there a setting in the ICE to permanently activate that regardless of the toggle position?
Seems an odd choice if so, ie you must always return a multifunction switch to select the passenger mirror for the auto dip feature to work

Odd indeed, I've not found a way to get the car to always dip the nearside (passenger) mirror.Bedfordblue wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 6:55 am Had my 2025 model dropped off a couple of days ago, when selecting reverse, does the multifunction dial have to have the passenger side mirror icon illuminated / switched to that mirror for it to auto dip or is there a setting in the ICE to permanently activate that regardless of the toggle position?

I select reverse, check mirror & then remember to move switch (after two and a half months ownership, I still expect the mirror to dip automatically!)

Thanks for the info, oh well, just have to get used to it I guess but would be nice if they can push an update (not holding my breath!)
The side cameras do a ½ decent job tbf, but I have a dwarf wall on my particularly narrow drive that needs the old mark 1 eye ball to be sure.
Are you aware that you can tap on a side image to display them side-by-side, giving you an enlarged view? I find that helps in tight situations.Bedfordblue wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 8:58 am ..The side cameras do a ½ decent job tbf, but I have a dwarf wall on my particularly narrow drive that needs the old mark 1 eye ball to be sure.
